Bush Rally

Bush stopped at Troy during a bus tour of Ohio. Sybil and I had a really great time at the Rally. One of my co-workers was even able to get a handshake!

I want to apologize for the Ads

I wanted to take a moment and apologize for the awful Bush bashing ads that are appearing at the top of my blog. It seems that they target key words in my blog and since I just added the Bush/Cheney link, I am now getting ads for the ACT (liberal organization that hires felons to go door to door and register voters for Kerry). Anyway I am too poor and not smart enough to figure out how to run my own blog...so i will have to put up with the ad sponsors for now.

Grob-Mania!!!

You are looking at the face of one of the best voices in the world. And not only can he sing extremely well, but he can play the piano and several other instruments. My sister and I went to his concert yesterday. It was Great! I suggest if you have never heard his music before check him out at www.joshgroban.com. And if you like the music you must go to the concert. Even though its live, it still sounds just as great as the cd. Ash and I were so impressed by his performance that we can't stop talking about it. (we didn't even mind all the young girls screaming "we love you josh, you're so hot!" In fact one of the funniest moments in the concert was when he stopped talking and looked in the direction of the girls that were yelling and told them that he "loved them too" and that he "was not hot.") I know that he is not as popular as the current popstars, but he has 100x their talent (he can actually sing with out digital help and crass lyrics) and will definitely be sticking around the music scene.

Just spectacular...definitely two thumbs up!!!!

W Stands for Women

Today, my sister and I had the opportunity to hear Dora Bush Koch speak for the W Stands for Women Coalition. Dora is the younger sister of President Bush. She spoke on getting women motivated and involved in the election. Also in attendance was JoAnn Davidson, former speaker of the House, Lt. Gov. Jenette Bradley, and Nancy Brickner.

Four More Years!!!

Yesterday my family and friends attended the Bush Rally in Cambridge. It was wet but so exciting. I can't wait until we get our pics developed and I can post them all. We visited the Bush rally in Cambridge then hung out in Zanesville and went to the Kerry Rally at the courthouse.

Ben is Great But Bush is Better

Q. Why did a republican attend the Kerry Rally in Zanesville?

A. Here is the #1 reason for attending the Kerry/Edwards Rally. Too bad he is on the wrong side. But who knows maybe someday he will see the light and become a republican like Reagan did. My friend and I only stayed long enough to hear him introduce Kerry. However, we were subjected to speeches from dems running for election and I did feel that at any moment, I was going to be struck by lightning. But from the conversations in the crowd, I wasn't the only republican there to see Affleck.
